I know I've composed a number of partial posts about Nico Muhly, but I don't think any ever came to print, so to speak.
A half decent video of "The Only Tune" surfaced in my field of visions:
I love this. I haven't seen Nico Muhly perform, but I did see Sam Amidon solo, at an oft mentioned show at a church in greenpoint.
Muhly came about to me in a great new yorker profile, subsequent new sounds performance - he was/is a media darling in new york, in the best way.
