I came upon this show while walking up Bowery yesterday. It am so into textural art, papercraft, and allusion to psychedelic shamanism - so, I was into this show. It is all in frames a few inches thick - I hope these photographs provide their depth. I was lured in by a huge (foam?) version of these works in the gallery window. I think these made me happy as they reference craft, which somehow has a longer shelf-life in my mind.

I noticed on my way out an arc of hexes chalked into the pavement surrounding the gallery facade.
