"Meat Love" by Jan Svankmajer
ok. so this morning I was in a studio audience watching Sigourney Weaver quarter a chicken and crack its bones open. It was very exciting. I thought of the production still from Ice Storm with her wielding a whip. (This an interesting juxtaposition as it was the Martha Stewart show, but Martha did have Lil Wayne going during the commercial breaks) The video above was found at Meatpaper's site, my new fave periodical. I am also excited about being a vegan, or at least, not consuming the cows.

didn't know you were vegan. how long has this been going on? what's it like at the martha stewart show? i always found her amazing and amber and i have been talking about subscribing to her magazine.
been vegan off and on for a while, but once I got to New York it was somehow able to stick - save the occasional goat cheese or boiled egg. Martha has an army backing her, and she looks kindof different in person! But she gave us free stuff including Obama hats! I wish it had been one of those post-jail shows tho when she demo-ed how to crochet shawls or something else she learned inside. I read her magazine at my Mom & Grandmother's but I think the same content exists on her website. Oh, and she actually lost her voice partway through, and it was live. It was all very exciting.
