i used to live here...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRHFfs48t_o
the funny part is that most of the artists who participated had nothing to do at all with my living space and that i can hardly find the meaning of all this, considering all the original art work of the actual residents was covered up over and over again by hipster kids who heard about the building that was getting torn down where they could do whatever they wanted. what was their nostalgia? it wasn't mine.
oh funny, I know the guy that took all those photos, but from new york. I looked at some more videos and it was indeed strange deciphering what parts might have been your old apartment.
i guess is should give credit where credit is due however...mr. beadel aka team nerd installation (the rainbow room is what i called it) was indeed my favorite. i got to spend some time in there before the mass party. i also really liked the installations by NKO and adam wallace. and you might think i am biased; but i'm not. i seriously thought everything else was SHIT. which is why i have such bitter thoughts. they didn't care about the homage to a buildings death. to beautify the memories lost by creating spaces that would never be forgotten.
